Qualifications

License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Medical: Clean driving record and a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical).
Experience: 1 to 3 years of commercial driving, prefer dump trucks/trailers in construction.

Responsibilities

Hauling & Dumping: Transport construction materials to and from job sites and operate hydraulic mechanisms to unload safely.
Vehicle Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for tires, brakes, lights, and fluids.
Safety & Compliance: Follow Federal/State DOT regulations and OSHA rules.
Load Management: Ensure loads are secure, tarps used when required, and within weight limits.
Logistics & Record Keeping: Maintain driver logs, delivery tickets, and fuel receipts.
Site Coordination: Communicate with dispatchers, project managers, and flaggers to navigate traffic and active sites.
