Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide timely waste removal services. The role requires ensuring vehicle compliance with safety standards and completing daily vehicle condition reports.

Responsibilities include inspecting the vehicle, serving customers on the route, and maintaining safety and productivity standards while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to perform daily pre-/post-trip inspections.
• Ability to read route sheets, follow directions, and service customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy.
• Safely operate the truck on the assigned route and service customers.
• Load/unload refuse and operate the packer in line with safety procedures.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and co-workers.
