Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services to customers. You will ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects.

The role requires pre- and post-trip inspections, on-route service, and safe operation of the packer/compactor. You will consistently interact with customers and teammates while maintaining productivity and safety.”

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper function.
• Safely operate the truck on designated routes and service each customer as assigned.
• Load refuse and operate the packer/compactor in line with safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag as required.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and address spills per safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and complete route productivity reports.
