Brown Foodservice, Inc. CDL Driver Training Program prepares individuals to pass the state skills test and obtain a Class A CDL from our Marietta, Ohio shuttle point.

Trainees work with a qualified trainer to develop driving skills and professional knowledge, supported by our long-standing service since 1942. Qualifications

• Must learn and adhere to DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting of 50 lbs.
• Strong communication with management, drivers, sales, and customers.
• Willingness to learn new applications/proprietary software.
• Must maintain safety and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer and deliver products on assigned routes.
• Maintain DOT-compliant logs and safety records.
• Inspect tractor-trailer pre/post trip.
• Communicate problems to supervisor by phone.
• Complete administrative paperwork and related tasks.
