Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a CDL Driver Trainer based in Greenville, SC. This full-time, hourly role leads all driver training activities for the CDL program, delivers classroom instruction, conducts road training, and assesses student progress under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a valid CDL, 2 years of over-the-road experience, safety focus, and strong communication. DOT and background checks are required, with a professional learning environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with appropriate class level for the position.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years verifiable on-the-road experience within the last 5 years.
• MVR and background check, including a drug screening.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and DOT drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and Maintains a Positive Learning Environment.
• Convenes all assigned classes per their start and end times.
• Maintains a safe environment for all students and staff.
• Administers written tests on classroom material and evaluates grades.
• Train students in all areas of trucking/driving.
