Qualifications

• Valid CDL required with appropriate class level for the position.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience within the last 5 years.
• MVR and background check, including a drug screening, are required.
• Ability to pass road test and DOT physical/drug screen on hire.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Convenes classes per start and end times.
• Train students in all areas of trucking/driving.
• Administer written tests and evaluate grades.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and air-brake tests.
• Instruct backing and parking maneuvers.
• Utilize effective delivery skills and relate material to experiences.
• Maintain records of student progress and attendance.
