Qualifications

• 2+ years of OTR experience.
• Must be able to qualify as a Class A CDL driver by meeting company requirements.
• Must have appropriate state certification as a CDL Examiner.
• Must possess exceptional communication skills.
• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on instruction on foundational driving techniques.
• Conduct classroom-based training on FMCSA safety expectations and policies.
• Ensure new drivers have solid understanding of essential driver knowledge.
• Utilize learning stations and company resources to teach driving concepts.
• Coordinate with departments to onboard new driver candidates.
• Support teammates and contribute to organizational goals.
• Complete daily proficiency documentation for each student.
• Provide evaluation of driving techniques upon completion of instruction.
• Assist others in achieving organizational objectives.
