Qualifications

• MVR and background check including a drug screening.
• Pass road test and DOT physical and drug screen.
• Maintain a valid Medical Examiner Certificate and pass DOT tests.
• Knowledge of pre-trip inspections, air-brake tests, and CDL basics.
• Ability to instruct shifting patterns and driving conditions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Convenes classes per start/end times and maintains safety for students.
• Maintains records of student progress and attendance.
• Delivers instruction in trucking/driving; administers written tests.
• Instructs various parking and backing maneuvers; uses effective delivery skills.
