Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a CDL Driver Trainer to lead training at the assigned location. The role requires proven field longevity, strong communication, and leadership abilities to teach over-the-road driving, range maneuvers, and classroom instruction under supervision of the Program Director/Lead Trainer.

The position emphasizes safety, policy adherence, and role-model behavior while delivering engaging instruction and maintaining records of student progress.

Qualifications

• CDL license valid; Class level must meet the position
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience within the last 5 years
• MVR and background check, including a drug screening
• Ability to pass road test and DOT physical/drug screen
• Maintain valid Medical Examiner Certificate and pass DOT drug tests
• Knowledge of pre-trip inspections, air-brake tests, and CDL driving basics
• Ability to instruct shifting patterns in varying conditions
• Knowledge of vehicle equipment and safety procedures
• Motivation, professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm for teaching
• Ability to work with adult learners
• Attend new faculty orientation before first term
