Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company seeks a Driver Trainee to deliver products along assigned routes with multiple stops, maintaining delivery windows and accurate cargo records. Upon successful training, you are expected to advance to a Driver DOT position within the Ben E. Keith Foods division.

Responsibilities include assembling orders, checking invoices, and ensuring safe, compliant operation of vehicles. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and basic math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals and procedures.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic math in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
• Provide quality customer service and needs assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product along routes with multiple stops and varying difficulty.
• Assemble customer orders for delivery to business locations.
• Maintain delivery time windows and ensure accuracy of delivered products.
• Follow traffic laws and transport procedures; report delays or accidents.
