Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a DOT Driver Trainee to learn delivery routes for our food and beverage distribution network in Texas. You will progress toward a Driver DOT position after completing the training program.

Responsibilities include delivering products to multiple stops, reading invoices, assembling orders, maintaining delivery windows, and ensuring cargo accuracy and vehicle readiness. Safety and logs are prioritized daily.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product along routes with multiple stops.
• Read customer invoices to determine items to move and deliver.
• Assemble customer orders for delivery to businesses.
• Maintain delivery time windows for each stop.
• Ensure accuracy of delivered product with no damage.
• Obey traffic laws and follow transport procedures.
• Inspect vehicle and report mechanical issues.
• Maintain vehicle logs and cargo statements as required.
• Report delays or accidents to bases.
