Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a CDL driver in Shawnee, OK to operate rear-load or automated trucks on daily routes, perform inspections, and ensure safety compliance. You will back up with helpers and coordinate with customers along your route.

Qualifications

• CDL required or in CDL school with eligibility.
• Ability to safely operate trucks and equipment.
• Strong safety and regulatory awareness.
• Ability to read maps and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Drive rear-load, split body, curotto, or automated-side load truck on routes.
• Assist helpers in loading waste when required.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; submit reports.
• Maintain DOT logbook and route productivity sheets as required by law.
• Interact courteously with customers and report issues to supervision.
