Job summary

Paul Logistics is seeking a Driver Recruitment Specialist to build and manage a professional driver team. You will source, evaluate, and onboard experienced truck drivers who meet safety and performance standards, collaborating with leadership and operations to scale recruiting in line with growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recruiting experience in transportation or logistics.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and driver compliance standards.
• Experience using Tenstreet, Driver IQ, or similar recruiting platforms.
• Proven ability to source, interview, and hire qualified drivers in high-volume environments.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with candidates and internal teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or after-hours to meet urgent driver needs.
• High ethical standards and commitment to compliance and fairness in hiring.

Responsibilities

• Source qualified CDL-A drivers through job boards, referrals, social media, and industry platforms.
• Screen applications and conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications and safety records.
• Schedule and coordinate in-person or virtual interviews.
• Guide drivers through onboarding, including background checks and compliance docs.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and provide regular recruitment reports.
• Build relationships with candidates and internal teams for a positive experience.
• Stay current on hiring trends and competitor activity to refine sourcing strategy.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company standards.
• Support weekend driver needs, arranging hotels or transportation when needed.
• Collaborate with operations, safety, and leadership to align recruiting with fleet goals.
