Job summary

Service Sanitation, Inc. is a leading portable sanitation provider delivering essential restroom services to events, construction sites, and public spaces in Indiana.

The Service Technician role focuses on safely operating our mobile units, maintaining equipment, and ensuring timely routes with strong customer communication. You will be responsible for picking up, delivering, and servicing units while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid For-Hire Endorsement (Indiana), Class C (Illinois) or CDL with insurable driving record.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull items up to 80 lbs regularly.
• Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
• Flexibility to work in all weather conditions, year-round service.
• Ability to work 10–12 hour days with overtime.
• Strong commitment to safety and drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Pick-up, deliver, move portable restroom equipment safely on/off truck and trailer.
• Perform service duties to high standards: evacuating tanks, scrubbing, stocking, dating units.
• Drive and operate a stake-bed/pumper vac-truck up to 26,000 lbs and tow trailers with restrooms.
• Complete daily paperwork: work orders, route sheets, DOT logs with accuracy.
• Maintain productivity, communicate with dispatch and customers.
• Deliver excellent customer service with strong communication and observation skills.
• Adhere to DOT regulations, safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Utilize technology and navigation tools to improve performance.
