GBS Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks a CDL Driver I to safely transport lumber and building materials to job sites across the Carolinas and beyond. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain DOT logs, and ensure accurate loading and unloading with professional customer interactions on site.

The role requires a valid Class A or B CDL, basic CDL experience with flat beds, and up to inter-state travel. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers.
• 1-2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting and handling lumber and building materials.

Aufgaben

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Delivers to active construction sites and completed build locations with possible inter-state travel.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and maintains logs per federal regulations.
• Provides professional customer service and relays messages from customers on site.
• Loads, unloads, and secures materials; verifies orders for accuracy before departure and on delivery.
• Maintains truck cleanliness and assists with warehouse stocking and organization.
