Job summary

GBS Building Supply, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a CDL Driver I to safely transport materials to job sites and other locations across the Carolinas and nearby states. This role requires maintaining a Class A or B license, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, managing logs, loading and unloading materials, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience with lumber and building materials required.
• Class A or Class B CDL License required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to job sites and locations; inter-state travel may be required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections.
• Provide professional customer service and relay messages.
• Load, unload, and verify orders; secure loads.
• Maintain DOT logs of driving hours, on-duty time, rest.
• Load/unload with truck-mounted forklift; ensure safe transport.
• Keep truck clean and organized; assist warehouse stock.
