Job summary

GBS Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks a CDL Driver I to safely transport materials to job sites and other locations. You will inspect trucks, manage logs, assist in loading, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to DOT regulations.

The role requires a Class A or B CDL, willingness to travel, and the ability to operate a truck-mounted forklift. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers preferred.
• 1-2 years CDL experience preferred; lumber/materials transport experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active construction sites and completed locations with possible inter-state travel.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections for safety and compliance.
• Provide professional customer service and accurate communication on job sites.
• Load, secure, and verify orders for delivery and unload at destination.
• Maintain logs and adhere to hours-of-service requirements.
