Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a Residential Driver to safely collect waste and recyclables on curbside and backdoor routes. You will drive a residential/recycling truck, complete route sheets, and maintain truck cleanliness.

The role requires a CDL, a GED or high school diploma, and minimum driving experience. You will work with a team, follow safety rules, and report issues promptly to supervisors.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• CDL required.
• 1+ year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Safety-sensitive criteria met per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive and operate the truck/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck on assigned route.
• Load solid waste/recyclables and assist with hauling.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain daily records.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to supervisor/maintenance.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulations and report incidents.
