Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a commercial driver to operate roll-off trucks and collect waste in Wisconsin. Night shift runs 4:45pm–4am with a $6 shift premium. A valid CDL is required, plus at least one year of driving experience or a CDL school certificate.

You will perform inspections, maintain records, and comply with safety regulations, with benefits including PTO, health plans, and a 401(k) match. Overtime may be required; apply at [e-mail].

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Possess valid CDL.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment to collect waste.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports daily.
• Report vehicle mechanical problems to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain route quality standards as directed by management.
• Communicate potential hazards to supervisor before performing tasks.
• Maintain clean vehicle interior and exterior.
• Report accidents or incidents to supervision immediately.
• Work overtime as required.
