Job summary

Homestead Building Solutions, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks a CDL Driver I to transport building materials to job sites and storage locations, ensuring safety and accuracy in loading and deliveries.

You will perform DOT inspections, manage logs, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to all regulations. Interstate travel may be required, with warehouse stocking duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Class A CDL or Class B CDL required.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting lumber/building materials required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant manner.
• Deliver to active construction sites and storage locations; may involve interstate travel.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections; ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain DOT logs and hours-of-service in accordance with regulations.
• Load and unload materials; verify orders for accuracy.
• Operate a truck-mounted forklift to load/unload materials at job sites.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and organization; assist in warehouse stocking.
