The role emphasizes professional customer interactions, loading/unloading, and ensuring orders are correct at departure and delivery, while preserving a clean, well-maintained truck and warehouse area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Class A or B CDL with flatbed/tractor-trailer experience.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred; lumber/building materials transport.
• Ability to perform basic math, read orders, and complete forms.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active construction sites and regional locations; interstate travel may be required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections per federal rules.
• Provide excellent customer service and relay messages at job sites.
• Load/unload materials and verify orders before departure and on delivery.
• Maintain DOT logs for hours, on-duty time, and rest periods.
• Operate truck-mounted forklift to load/unload on site.
• Keep the truck clean and organized; assist in warehouse stocking.
