Baltimore City is seeking a CDL Driver II to oversee a crew of workers and operate a range of vehicles and heavy equipment. The role involves outdoor maintenance and construction tasks, with potential evenings, weekends, and emergency callbacks.

Minimum qualifications include high school/GED and relevant laboring or electrical/lighting experience. A Maryland Class C noncommercial license or higher may be required, plus eligibility for a Baltimore City permit and potential pesticide license

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED certificate.
• Experience in laboring tasks with lead responsibilities or experience in exterior lighting/electrical maintenance or earth moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and directs a crew of semi-skilled workers or laborers.
• Operates or assists with vehicles and equipment as required, including large trucks and construction or maintenance equipment.
• Works outdoors at highways, construction sites, or maintenance facilities, with exposure to weather and hazards.
• May require evenings, weekends, holidays, or 24-hour callbacks for emergencies.
