Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred; flat beds and/or tractor trailers.
• Experience transporting lumber and building materials required.
• Must maintain Class A or B CDL license; DOT rules familiarity.
• Ability to read orders and complete forms.

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Delivers to active construction sites and completed locations; may require city-based or inter-state travel.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections for safety and compliance.
• Provides professional customer service and relays messages from customers at job sites.
• Loads, unloads, and secures loads; verifies orders before departure and on delivery.
• Maintains DOT logs of driving hours, on-duty time, and rest periods.
• Delivers and unloads materials safely and ensures customer satisfaction at delivery.
• Operates truck-mounted forklift as needed; keeps truck clean and organized.
