Job summary

Homestead Building Solutions, part of the US LBM family, seeks a CDL Driver I to safely transport building materials to job sites across the region. You will perform DOT inspections, maintain logs, and support loading/unloading with a forklift, ensuring accurate deliveries.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years CDL experience with lumber/materials handling. Pay ranges from $25.00 to $32.00 per hour with an emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers preferred (1–2 years).
• Experience transporting lumber/building materials required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active construction sites and job locations; interstate travel may be required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and maintain logs per federal rules.
• Provide professional customer service and relay messages from clients on site.
• Load/unload materials, verify orders, and secure loads for transport.
