Job summary

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator to operate and evaluate a self-driving vehicle in autonomous mode, collect data, and provide feedback to help improve performance.

You will monitor vehicle behavior, log data, and assist with ride-hail operations. This role requires a CDL and strong technical aptitude; work shifts include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight hours, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Driver's License.
• Proficient with a laptop and Office apps (Gmail, Sheets, Docs).
• Proficient with handheld devices/touchscreen smartphones.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and concise explanation of thoughts.

Responsibilities

• Operate/Drive autonomous vehicles on defined and undefined routes, monitoring the vehicle in autonomous mode and providing verbal feedback.
• Test other aspects of the autonomous vehicles.
• Create timely, detailed ride reports for operations and engineering teams.
• Work specific shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
• Maintain high safety standards inside and outside the vehicle.
