Montana Department of Transportation is seeking a seasoned Highway Maintenance Technician (CDL Driver/Equipment Operator) for Opheim. The role involves operating diverse trucks and heavy equipment to support highway maintenance, culvert work, and roadway repairs in the Opheim area.

Formación
- Valid Montana Commercial Operators License (Class A, Type II) with no restrictions, a tank endorsement and a valid MEC.
- Learner’s permit holders have 30 days to obtain the license.
- One year experience driving heavy trucks or operating construction equipment (Tech I).
- Three years experience for Tech III; level II requires one year of relevant experience.
Responsabilidades
- Operate trucks and heavy equipment for highway maintenance tasks.
- Perform culvert placement, cleaning, landslide removal and road repairs.
- Install/maintain signs, guardrails, luminaires and pavement markings.
- Conduct crack/mastic sealing, fence building, and vegetation management.
