Key Accountabilities and Warehouse Execution
  • Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites
  • Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck-mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts
  • Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs
  • Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies
  • Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery
  • Review discrepancies from inventory and notify Branch Manager
  • Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory
  • Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisor/Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality
Physical Requirements
  • Lift or move up to 100 lbs.
  • Standing, walking, moving, and talking frequently
Work Environment
  • The atmosphere is that of a warehouse environment and office space
  • This position will primarily work in a facility where forklifts are present
  • Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment issued for the branch location
  • Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat
Education, Experience & Skills
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 year driving experience
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Delivery experience
  • Basic warehouse/wholesale operations knowledge
  • Knowledge of safety policies and processes
