Responsibilities:

• Comply with all truck driving rules and regulations (e.g., size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as company policies and procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and free from safety hazards.
• Safely load and secure products onto trucks according to company specifications.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with the route dispatcher.
• Unload goods according to customer specifications, ensuring satisfaction.
• Review deliveries with customers to confirm products meet their needs.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
• Provide support at other Barton Supply locations as needed (Frederick, Commerce City, and Colorado Springs).
• Return home every night - no overnight routes required!

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class B license and medical card.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Delivery Driver.
• Clean driving record with no recent moving or driving violations.
• Ability to pass company driving test, background check, and drug test, including random tests during employment.
• Strong knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to pass a basic Human Performance Evaluation Exam (HPE Level 4) due to the physical demands of the job.
