QXO, a leading building products distributor and installer, is seeking a CDL Driver (Class A or B) to safely deliver materials to job sites and support loading and unloading. The role requires DOT/FMCSA knowledge, a clean driving record, and strong customer service skills.

Primarily field-based with frequent driving in assigned areas, this position emphasizes safety, professional conduct, and accurate documentation using electronic logs and mobile apps. A valid CDL is required.

Qualifications

• Must have 21 years of age or older.
• CDL Class A or B license in good standing is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience operating flatbed trucks, tractor-trailers, manual transmissions, or oversized load vehicles preferred.
• Clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport building materials, products, and equipment to customer locations according to routes and schedules.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Plan deliveries considering traffic, weather, and jobsite access.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and document delivery status.
• Verify load accuracy and secure materials before departure; assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Complete delivery documentation and use electronic logs and mobile apps accurately.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with customers.
• Ensure safety compliance, PPE usage, and safe loading/unloading practices.
