QXO, in Oxnard, CA, seeks a CDL Driver (Class A or B) to safely and promptly transport building materials to customer locations and job sites. The role combines driving with hands-on loading, securing, and verifying loads in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, customer-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.

Responsabilités

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
