Job summary

QXO, Inc. in the United States is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to safely deliver building materials to customer locations and job sites, while loading, unloading, and securing loads, including oversized shipments, in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strict adherence to DOT/FMCSA regulations, route planning, and professional customer service. It is field-based with overtime potential and may involve weekends; a clean driving record and ability to lift up to 75 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license in good standing and 1–2 years verifiable CDL experience.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safe driving practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; professional conduct with customers.
• Ability to work independently, manage daily delivery schedules, and stay organized.
• Adaptability to field conditions and ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport building materials to customer locations and job sites per routes and delivery schedules.
• Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections in line with DOT/FMCSA rules.
• Load, secure, and transport materials using proper tie‑downs and load handling practices.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate delivery status professionally.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete delivery documentation accurately.
