QXO in Lakewood, NJ is hiring a CDL Driver (Class A or B) to safely transport building materials to customer locations and job sites. This role combines driving with on-site loading/unloading and requires compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Ideal candidates are 21+, hold a valid CDL, have 12 months of verifiable experience, and are comfortable working outdoors in all weather. Benefits include 401(k), health coverage, PTO, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
