FedEx Freight is seeking a driver/dock associate in Windsor, WI. The role centers on tractor-trailer operation along with non-driving duties such as forklift operation and dock work. Candidates must have a Class A CDL (or CLP) prior to entry and a clean MVR.

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work both independently and in a team is essential. Starting pay is provided, with day and night shifts. This is an on-site position requiring adherence to DOT regulations, hazard materials procedures

Formación

• Must hold a Class A CDL or CDL permit (CLP) before entering job classification.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record per hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements under FMC regulations.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift approx. 100 pounds several times daily; sit for long periods.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/straight trucks.
• Perform pre/post/inter-trip safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Handle freight with forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Secure freight using pallets, straps, and rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight; maintain documentation.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with customers.
• Assist with road driver duties when needed.
