Qualifications

• Must hold class A CDL or commercial learner permit (CLP) before starting.
• MVR must meet hiring standards.
• Must comply with DOT regulations under FMC.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of handling trailers and lift requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles or straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Handle freight using forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps, and rope.
• Record documentation and reports accurately.
• Communicate with Dispatch about delays or equipment issues.
• Assist with customer pickup/delivery coordination.
