Qualifications

• CDL or CLP required before entering job classification.
• Valid MVR as per hiring standards.

• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs repeatedly and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations and doubles/straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and convertor dollies.
• Handle freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps, and rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight as needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Communicate with Dispatch on delays, arrivals, and issues.
• Assist customers with pick-up or delivery needs.
• Perform duties of a road driver or freight handler when needed.
