Lansing Building Products is hiring a CDL Driver based in the West Bridgewater area. The role involves daily delivery routes and warehouse tasks, with the driver acting as Lansing’s front-line representative to customers and crews.

The position emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork, with a schedule that typically starts around 7:00 AM and finishes in the afternoon, and little to no weekend work. Prior forklift experience is valued.

Qualifications

• CDL B or A license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Moffett forklift experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products helpful.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift certification and piggyback truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent Lansing Building Products on the job site and with customers.
• Split time between delivering and warehouse duties.
• Interact with customers and crews to provide outstanding service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard.
• Be ready to perform additional tasks as needed.

HOME EVERY NIGHT! CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities

• Lives the mission statement
• Acts as a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional service to each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a \"get-the-job-done\" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions not particularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Have moffett forklift experience
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience with building products is very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At least one year of driving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
