Job summary

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking a Driver at our Tulsa branch to safely operate routes, load and secure materials, and deliver to job sites while maintaining vehicle integrity and adhering to safety policies.

The role requires a valid CDL, clean driving record, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. You will interact with customers, verify quantities, and support branch safety initiatives, with home nights and a competitive compensation package.

Position: Driver

Compensation: Competitive Sign-On Bonus Available and Home EVERY Night

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the most efficient route to job sites while observing traffic laws and safety regulations and company policies/procedures.
• Assist in loading and securing materials on trucks daily and help unload materials using crane, conveyor, piggybacks, or by hand.
• Represent Gulfeagle on the jobsite by leading, instructing, and supervising others as needed.
• Drive the shortest distance to the job site and verify quantities of material for accuracy.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Maintain safety by adhering to all safety requirements and wearing appropriate safety gear.
• Comply with company drug and random drug testing policies as required.
• Interact professionally with customers and delivery points, providing courteous customer service.

Essential Functions and Requirements

• Education, Experience, and Licensing
• Valid state CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR/DOT).
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a company drug screen and background checks.
• Current and valid Medical Certification Card.
• One year of driving experience preferred.
• Read, write, and comprehend English or Spanish as required by the branch location.
• Keen awareness and dexterity for operating vehicles and handling materials.

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions; strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Physical ability to bend, reach, lift (up to 100 pounds repeatedly for extended periods), and climb (including a 40-foot ladder) as required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and to climb on rooftops for material placement and stacking (location-based).
• Experience with safe operation of vehicles and equipment; ability to conduct DOT inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Ability to interact professionally with the public and maintain loyalty to Gulfeagle Supply.
• Must meet DOT physical and medical requirements and be able to pass substance abuse screening as per company policy.

• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in quarterly counts as needed.
• Maintain warehouse, yard, and trucks in a presentable condition; perform minor repairs as required.
• Support branch and fleet safety initiatives and comply with safety protocols to protect customers and company assets.
