Job summary

Gulfeagle Supply, located in Colleyville, Texas, is looking for a skilled Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely driving to job sites, loading and unloading materials, and inspecting vehicles. A valid CDL is required, and candidates must be able to lift heavy materials.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Must have held a CDL driving position the previous year with consecutive driving experience.
• Must have a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle.
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the most efficient route to the job site.
• Assist in loading and securing materials on trucks.
• Unloading materials using cranes or by hand.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness.

Skills

Driver

Our drivers are responsible for safely driving the most efficient route to the job site while observing all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. They assist in loading and securing materials on trucks daily and help unload materials using cranes, conveyors, piggybacks or by hand. Gulfeagle drivers are the face of our company on the job site, leading, instructing, and supervising others.

Requirements

• Valid state CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with a clear MVR and DOT record
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Must have a current and valid Medical Certification Card
• Must have held a CDL driving position the previous year with consecutive driving experience
• Must have a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb
• Ability and willingness to climb on a rooftop and ensure proper stacking (location based)
• Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 100 pounds of material for extended periods of time
• Must be able to climb a 40’ ladder (location based)
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of vehicles
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Must be able to pass a company‑required drug screening; all employees are subject to random drug testing per company policy.

Preferred

• Previous material handling experience a plus
• Previous forklift experience
• Certified to operate a crane is a plus
