Job summary

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking a Driver to safely operate company vehicles on efficient routes to job sites, load and secure materials as needed, and assist with unloading. The driver will be the face of Gulfeagle on the job site and may supervise others while ensuring safety and compliance.

Applicants must hold a valid CDL (A or B), be at least 21, possess a Medical Certification Card, and have a clean MVR/DOT record.

Qualifications

• CDL license (A or B) with a clean MVR/DOT record.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Medical Certification Card required.
• Must have held a CDL driving position in the prior year.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the most efficient route to job sites while obeying traffic laws and company policies.
• Assist in loading and securing materials on trucks; unload as needed.
• Lead, instruct, and supervise others on-site; serve as the company face at the job site.

Driver

Our drivers are responsible for safely driving the most efficient route to the job site while observing and obeying all traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies. They assist in loading and/or securing materials on trucks daily and help unload materials using cranes, conveyors, piggybacks or by hand. Gulfeagle drivers are the face of our company on the jobsite as they lead, instruct and supervise others.

Requirements

• Valid state CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with a clear MVR and DOT record
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Must have a current and valid Medical Certification Card
• Must have held a CDL driving position the previous year with consecutive driving experience
• Must have a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb
• Ability and willingness to climb on a rooftop and ensure proper stacking (location based)
• Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 100 pounds of material for extended periods of time
• Must be able to climb a 40’ ladder (location based)
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of vehicles
• Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S.

Must be able to pass a company‑required drug screening; all employees are subject to random drug testing per company policy.

Preferred

• Previous material handling experience is a plus
• Previous forklift experience
• Certified to operate a crane is a plus
