The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient hauling of bulk materials from materials plants and ports, maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to specified locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding transportation and safety.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues immediately.
• Provide exceptional customer service, representing the company with professionalism and courtesy.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a commercial driver.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate GPS devices and navigate efficiently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience hauling bulk materials preferred.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• TWIC Card a plus.
  
  

Work Environment:

• Majority of work is performed on the road, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
