CDL-class A Truck Driver - Dry Bulk Pneumatic
Now recruiting for Spring opportunities. Positions are limited.
Responsibilities include self-motivated and driven professional truck drivers who want to be part of a successful team. Drivers must follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations, prioritize safety, adhere to Rock Solid documentation policies and procedures, and deliver loads to project sites on time and safely. Drivers are key to ensuring timely and successful job completion.

Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety programs and procedures.
- Load, transport, and unload materials in coordination with job site crews, emphasizing delivery deadlines.
- Follow all Federal, State, and local DOT and FMCSA regulations, along with internal policies, licensing, and certifications.
- Verify materials and quantities on each load and bill of lading, paying attention to details.
- Communicate professionally and clearly at all times.
- Represent the company positively in all interactions with customers, subcontractors, coworkers, vendors, inspectors, and the public.
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe truck and trailer, including basic maintenance tasks.
- Ensure electronic logs are accurate and compliant with regulations.
- Use phone applications effectively for dispatch and paperwork.
- Maintain CDL compliance.
- Willingness to travel out of town for various durations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Class A CDL required. Hazmat, Tanker endorsements, and TWIC are a plus but not mandatory for interstate driving.
- Medical card required.
- Manual Transmission experience is advantageous.
- Minimum 21 years old.
- Good driving record with no recent major violations and verifiable employment history.
- Pre-employment drug screen, background check, FMCSA PSP, MVR check, and compliance with DOT drug and alcohol policies required.
- Proficiency with smartphones and tablets necessary.
- Willing to travel for various durations (1 week to 1-2 months depending on the project).
- Prior pneumatic bulk hauling experience is preferred but not required (training provided).
Compensation
- Experience-based percentage pay (28-32% of gross truck revenue).
- Potential to gross over $80,000 annually plus excellent benefits.
- Paid weekly via direct deposit.
- Overtime for wait times ($35/hour).
- Daily per diem when out of town ($30 - $88).
- Weekend and holiday premium pay (+10%).
- Monthly phone allowance.
- Paid mobilization to/from projects.
- Paid onboarding and training.
