Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $25.00/hr

London Eligibility, an Elevate Patient Financial Solutions company, has an exciting career opportunity available as a Social Security Disability Case Manager. This position will be remote based. The Full Time schedule for this role will be 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday with flexibility as needed.

The principal responsibilities of the Social Security Disability Case Manager are centered on providing clients with support and expertise to build complete and accurate case files for the SSD process.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Complete phone interviews to obtain necessary information for Social Security Disability case screenings and applications.
  • Review the Social Security Disability process and documents with clients, setting expectations and encouraging ongoing communication.
  • Review all provided documentation and screening details and provide an accurate assessment of the client’s eligibility for Social Security Disability benefits.
  • Obtains a thorough list of all treating sources to obtain medical documentation not yet provided.
  • Coordinate with clients, medical treatment sources, and the Social Security Administration.
  • Coordinate Disability Determination Services to provide all applicable medical and other documentation.
  • Enter all pertinent information into the case management system, including data entry and scanning/sorting of all case documents.
  • File all paperwork with Social Security in a timely manner that complies with Social Security guidelines.
  • Communicate via in-person meetings, telephone conversations, and email with all clients, the government, and coworkers in a professional manner.
  • Support management team, coworkers, and customers with regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership


Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's/Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of similar work experience in Case Management and/or Customer Services experience with Social Security Administration disability or similar human services experience.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and procedures.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and to organize work in a systematic and efficient fashion.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Remote and Hybrid positions require home internet connections that meet the company’s upload and download speed criteria.
