Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a CDL Driver to join our distribution team. The role delivers building products to job sites and assists in the warehouse, with starts around 7:00 AM and a typical 4:30 PM finish, generally no weekend work.

You will represent Lansing professionally, operate a moffett forklift, and ensure safe, accurate handling of orders. Required: CDL B (or A), clean driving record, forklift experience, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and at least one year of driving

Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license required; clean driving record.
• Experience with moffett forklift is preferred.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is helpful.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift certification and piggyback truck experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• CDL Driver Responsibilities: Lives the mission statement
• Acts as a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between deliveries and warehouse work
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional service to Lansing customers and strives to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• May perform other duties such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

HOME EVERY NIGHT!

CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

• Lives the mission statement

• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Have moffett forklift experience
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience withbuilding productsis very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At leastoneyear ofdriving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
