Job summary

Lansing Building Products is hiring a CDL Driver to join our Ashland team. The role involves delivering materials, assisting in the warehouse, and representing Lansing on customer sites. A CDL B or A license and a clean driving record are required, as is Moffett forklift experience.

The position starts early and ends around 4:30 PM with limited weekend work. Responsibilities include safe deliveries, handling warehouse duties, and providing outstanding service to customers.

Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have Moffett forklift experience.
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus and to work as a contributing member of a larger team.
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.

A Day in the Life at Lansing: CDL Driver

HOME EVERY NIGHT! CDL Driver’s day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location).

CDL Driver Responsibilities
