48forty Solutions is hiring a CDL Driver in Bartow, FL. You’ll earn $23.00/hr with weekends off and home daily, handling local truckload deliveries with no touch freight.

Expected shifts are 1st shift, 5:00am–2:00pm, Monday through Friday. You will operate an automatic 53' tractor-trailer on up to 10–12 shifts and complete about 3–4 routes per shift within a 150‑mile radius of Bartow.

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience (past 3 years).
• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$23.00/hr.

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 5:00am-2:00pm

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles of Bartow, FL making about 3-4 routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van for 10-12 shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
