Job summary

Hensley Beverage Company is seeking a full-time CDL Operator (Delivery Driver Trainee) in Prescott Valley, AZ. You will start with training for 30–90 days as an hourly non-exempt employee, delivering to accounts and building customer relationships on an established route.

After training, you transition to a CDL Delivery Driver role with a salary position and eligibility for incentives. The role emphasizes safety, accurate payments, and excellent customer service on a daily route.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Clean driving record.
• Good communication skills and cheerful disposition.
• Must be able to work well with others.
• Ability to interact with diverse personalities.
• Ability to read code dates proficiently.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and up to 165 lbs for keg product.
• Must be able to work holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Cell phone with data capability (cell phone allowance).
• Experience in beverage industry helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections as required by AZDOT.
• Delivers product to customers, collects money and checks, and records transactions.
• Endorses checks and keeps monies received in a safe place.
• Greet customers, restock and rebuild backstock, and build displays for weekly ads.
• Place product at accounts and manage keg pickups as instructed.
• Ensure rotation of back stock and displays during delivery.
• Suggests ways to meet customer needs and highlights product selling points.
• Resolve customer complaints and report competitive activity to management.
• Verify load-in and reconcile monies upon returning to the warehouse.
