Position Overview

This is an open and continuous posting for full-time and part-time CDL Driver positions across multiple locations in the Cornbelt Region. It is an excellent opportunity for newly licensed or experienced drivers seeking work. A willingness to load, unload, and engage with customers is required. Home nightly!

Responsibilities

1. Drive company trucks to designated locations safely and accurately.
2. Complete and maintain records according to company and government regulations.
3. Pick up and deliver products to customers as needed.
4. Load or assist in loading trailers with materials.
5. Unload trailers of bulk chemicals and fertilizers safely and efficiently, using forklifts or hand trucks.
6. Understand and take proper precautions regarding product hazards.
7. Perform all responsibilities safely and efficiently.
8. Maintain and clean equipment.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma.
2. Driving experience preferred.
3. Valid driver’s license and applicable endorsements.
4. CDL required; hazmat endorsement preferred.
5. Must meet minimum DOT age requirements.
6. Able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
7. Pass pre-employment drug and background screening.
8. Meet DOT and company requirements.
9. Able to work additional hours as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

The estimated hourly wage is $18-$21, depending on location. This role offers paid sick days; however, due to its temporary nature, it does not include other benefits or retirement plans. Overtime and pay elements required by law are applicable. Nutrien complies with all relevant regulations.
