Job summary

Hawkins Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to load and unload trucks and deliver products to customer sites across the Central United States. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, ensure compliance with DOT regulations, and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.

The role requires a High School diploma, 1-3 years driving experience, and a Class B CDL with the ability to obtain tanker and HAZMAT endorsements. Strong communication and safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years previous driving experience required.
• Class B CDL with ability to obtain tanker and HAZMAT endorsements.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office required; prior MRP or ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Professionally deliver products to internal and external customer sites.
• Know the equipment and processes for handling, storing, shipping and transporting hazardous materials per DOT standards.
• Complete shipping, receiving papers and inventory/inspection reports accurately.
• Provide routine maintenance and inspection of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and report safety incidents to supervisor.
