Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. is seeking a full-time route driver to load, unload, and deliver products across 27+ states. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with DOT standards, and accurate documentation.

You will operate forklifts and related equipment, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and uphold quality and safety procedures. Candidates should have a Class B CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements, 1–3 years of driving experience, and a solid driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of driving experience required.
• Class B CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements required.
• Satisfactory driving record expected.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills expected.
• Basic computer skills; MS Office experience required; prior MRP/ERP experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or chemical environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Professionally deliver products to internal and external customer sites.
• Know equipment and processes for handling, storing, shipping and transporting hazardous materials per DOT standards.
• Complete required shipping/receiving paperwork and inventories in paper or digital form.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspection of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to product quality, safety standards, and report safety incidents to supervisor/manager.
