Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Class A CDL driver to load, unload, and deliver products safely to customer sites across the region. You will operate forklifts when required and ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role requires 1–3 years of CDL experience, tanker/HAZMAT endorsements, and the ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years Class A CDL driving experience.
• Currently holding Class A CDL with ability to obtain tanker and HAZMAT endorsements.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office required; prior MRP or ERP experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to internal and external customer sites.
• Know the equipment (forklift, hose, pump, etc.) and process operations of handling, storing, shipping and transporting hazardous materials compliant with DOT standards.
• Accurately complete required documentation in paper form and/or on a computer, including shipping and receiving paperwork, inventory sheets, inspection reports, etc.
• Provide routine maintenance and inspection of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Apply all product quality and safety standards as well as report any product safety incidents to the Supervisor, Manager, or designated back-up.
• Communicate compliance, safety, and equipment needs as personally identified.
• Ability to safely operate independently while adhering to all company SOPs and environmental, safety and health regulations.
• Perform other miscellaneous related duties, as needed.
